Battery Care Tips
Initial Charging
Charge the new battery continuously for 4-7 hours before first use. This ensures maximum capacity and performance.
Use Only KIRISUN
Charging the battery pack in non-KIRISUN equipment can damage the battery and void the warranty.
Temperature Control
KIRISUN rapid chargers have temperature sensors to maintain safe charging temperatures.
Charge with Radio OFF
Charge the battery pack with the transceiver turned off to ensure it's fully charged.
Avoid Overcharging
Do not leave the radio and battery in the charger when not charging, as overcharging can shorten battery life.
Enable Battery Saver
Go to Menu > Settings > Power Saver and turn on the battery saver to optimize performance.
Long-Term Storage
If a battery has been stored for an extended period, charge it continuously for 4-7 hours before use.
Ideal Storage Temperature
Store the battery pack at room temperature (around 25°C) to prevent leakage or reduce discharge capacity.
